Government Innovation Lab on Friday 4th September 2020 was visited by highly esteemed Parliamentary Secretary Health, Government of Balochistan #Ms #Rubaba #Buledi, Chief of Sections SDGs Planning & Development Department #Mr #Arif #Shah, UNDP Provincial Representative Sub Office Quetta #Mr #Zulfiqar #Durrani, Vice Chancellor University of Balochistan #Dr #ShafiqurRehman and other officials from UNDP Pakistan.
Dr. Waheed Noor and Dr. Sanaullah Panezai on behalf of GIL welcomed the guests with keynote and asked the Fellow ICT Developers to introduce the prototypes and software solutions innovatively designed to address service delivery challenges for Government of Balochistan.
Miss Rubaba Buledi lauded the efforts being made on behalf of University of Balochistan and UNDP on execution of extremely efficient solutions.
Mr Arif Shah expressed his opinions on initiatives like GIL which are bringing substantial change in automation of service delivery at Government Departments. He presented his motivation and vision for a brighter Baluchistan through technology.
Mr Zulfiqar Durrani highly appreciated the welcoming response of Government of Balochistan in owning and taking up Government Innovation Lab as a framework for digitizing Balochistan.
In the end Dr Shafiq Ur Rehman paid attribute to contribution of P&DD and UNDP Pakistan for providing opportunities for the youth to lead the conventional challenges with modern solutions.
