Project Description
The AI Teaching Assistant is a locally developed EdTech application designed to help teachers and parents instantly generate lesson plans, quizzes, assignments, question papers, presentation slides, and topic summaries. Supporting both offline and online modes, the app ensures accessibility, privacy, and scalability across Pakistan and Internationally.
Users can simply enter a topic or upload an image/PDF to instantly download ready to-use Word or PowerPoint files. The platform offers bilingual (English/Urdu), curriculum aligned content and empowers educators from primary to university level to create engaging learning material within minutes.

Regional Selection Ignite AI Wrapper Competition 2025
The AI Teaching Assistant was regionally selected in the Pakistan 1st Ignite AI Wrapper Competition 2025, where only three teams were shortlisted to advance to the National Grand Final. Developed under GIL, University of Balochistan, the project qualified in the Ed-Tech track, representing Balochistan at Pakistan’s first National AI Wrapper Grand Final highlighting its innovation, real-world impact, and potential to transform education nationwide.
